The 12 cities under the Adapt+Innovate Peace and Development cohort will be sharing their stories of adaptive innovation in times of uncertainties every Wednesday from 1:30PM to 3:30 PM from November 18 to December 9, 2020. The activity, entitled “Adapt + Innovate Stories of 12 Cities in this Time of Uncertainties: Mga Kuwentong Mayor sa Panahon ng Pandemya at Kalamidad”, is brought to you by Galing Pook Foundation, the Local Government Academy, the Department of the Interior and Local Government and the League of Cities of the Philippines.
Every Wednesday, three city mayors will present their most adaptive and innovative program implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. For November 18, the presenters are: Mayor Ronaldo Aquino of Calbayog City in Samar; Mayor Ericson Singson of Candon City in Ilocos Sur; and Mayor Raymund Tongson of Himamaylan City in Negros Occidental.
For November 25, the presenters are: Mayor Eric Africa of Lipa City in Batangas, Mayor Gina Lizares of Sipalay City in Negros Occidental, and Mayor Michelle Rabat of Mati, Davao Oriental. The presenters for December 2 are: Mayor Arturo Robes of San Jose del Monte City in Bulacan, Mayor Eric Cañosa of Gigoog City in Misamis Oriental, and Mayor Jay Diaz of the City of Ilagan in Isabela.
The last batch of presenters are: Mayor Ronnie Dadivas of Rxas City in Capiz, Mayor Krisel Lagman-Luistro in Tabaco City in Albay, and Mayor Madel Alfelor-Gazmen of Iriga City. They will be presenting on December 9.
The presentations of the 12 cities are part of the activities and requirements of the Adapt + Innovate Leadership Course.
