Global Public Innovations Network

The Galing Pook Foundation is part of the Global Public Innovations Network, a network of 10 public policy awards programs from around the world, established in 2002. The GPIN makes possible the pooling and dissemination of experiences and knowledge about innovations in public service delivery, public action, and governance. The partner programs are as follows:

About the Conference

A two-day global conference on cutting edge innovations in public management crosscutting Public-Private Partnerships, Inter-Local Cooperation and Horizontal and Vertical Divides in the Presentations of the Following Themes:

  • Climate Change, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, and Environmental Protection
  • Conflict Management and Resolution
  • Economic Development and Poverty Reduction
  • Delivery of Basic Services (health, education, and social services)
  • Transparency and Accountability
  • Information Technology and e-Governance

Organized by the Galing Pook Foundation, in celebration of its 20th anniversary, Good Governance champions around the world will converge to pro-actively renew their commitment through:

  • Presentation, documentation and wider dissemination of cutting edge innovations or best practices in the public sector;
  • Offers of technical assistance among members and aspiring local governments willing to adopt proven inclusive development initiatives; and
  • Forging of local and international network on public innovations.
