The Municipality of San Felipe, Zambales implemented its Monthly Search for Galing Barangay and Galing Purok in order to elicit the support of the barangays and the puroks in the implementation of various programs and projects. The search became a tool for monitoring, and allowed the local government to do more despite its limited resources.
